inspired: string art

you know you've seen this all over pinterest -

string, nails, & wooden or cork boards (or just walls!) are all that's necessary

to make colorful, eye-popping art for any space.

i've come across a few favorites that i just have to share with you all.

dina @ honety & fitz created this work of art for her son's nursery.

i love the range of overlapping colors & the cursive script!

dina has very detailed instructions on how to create your own,

jesse @ nine red skipped the board all together & hammered his string art right to the wall.

check out jesse's instructions & how he came up with the design of

the larger yellow piece mathematically.

finally, my favorite of the bunch, creative in chicago

switched it up by filling the blank space around her message.
